- Aliko Dangote will make an offer to buy Arsenal once his oil refinery in Lagos is completed
- If Africa's richest man buy's Arsenal, he says the first thing he will do is sack Arsene Wenger
- Dangote thinks he can convince Stan Kroenke and Alisher Usmanov to sell the club to him
Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has revealed that he will sack Arsene Wenger if he eventually buys English Premier League football club Arsena.
Bloomberg report that Dangote has been a supporter of the club since the mid-1980s and has been looking to be charge of the club.
Speaking in an interview, Africa's richest man said he will look to buy the club by tabling an offer once the construction of an $11 billion oil refinery in Lagos is completed.

“The first thing I would change is the coach,” Dangote said. “He has done a good job, but someone else should also try his luck.”
Dangote, 60, says he would make an enticing offer that would force American billionaire Stan Kroenke, who owns 67 percent of the club and Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who holds a 30 percent stake to sell.

“If they get the right offer, I’m sure they would walk away,” he said. “Someone will give them an offer that will make them seriously consider walking away. And when we finish the refinery, I think we will be in a position to do that.”
Wenger is Europe’s longest-serving manager. Since his appointment to the London-based club in 1996, he’s won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup trophies.
