In continuation of its tax enforcement efforts, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), yesterday, sealed some schools and hotels allegedly defaulting in tax payment in Abuja. One of the schools in the Asokoro area was allegedly owing N976,133.57 in Company Income Tax (CIT), Education Tax (EDT) and Withholding Tax (WHT).The enforcement team, led by Mr. Zubairu Usman, gave the school management till 2 pm to evacuate its pupils to enable officials seal the school.
