IGBO QUIT NOTICE: ‘I heard the audio ordering Northerners to slaughter Igbos on Oct I’ – Fani-kayode

By Aunde T. Emmanuel (eaundeblog)
The former Aviation Minister and former Spokesman to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan’s Campaign Organization in 2015, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has revealed alleged underground plans by the Northerners to slaughter Igbo people on October 1.
Fani-Kayode, via his Twitter handle, made the claim Tuesday Morning, saying:
“I heard the audio inciting northerners to slaughter Igbos on Oct. 1st. Failure to stop this from happening by govt will result in civil war.”
I heard the audio inciting northerners to slaughter Igbos on Oct. 1st. Failure to stop this from happening by govt will result in civil war.
Fani-Kayode warned seriously that the move may lead to another civil war if nothing is done immediately.
This comes days after the Coalition of Arewa youths, expressed its readiness to back down on the quit notice issued to Igbos residing in the North.
Fani-Kayode had also sounded an alarm last month on the Igbo quit notice. In a short statement Fani-Kayode issued on Thursday, June 8, 2017, and e-mailed to The Trent, he had reacted to the Igbo quit notice (which he still regards as a pre-genocide threat) issued by a coalition of Arewa Groups ordering that Igbos leave the North before October 1, 2017.
Fani-Kayode had warned in his email to Trent, inter alia:
“ . . . The northern youths must be warned and told in very clear terms. This is not 1966. Any pogrom or slaughter of Igbos in the north will lead to a swift, immediate and devastating retaliation throughout the south . . . This time around the Igbo are not alone. An attack on them is an attack on every southerner and every Middle Belter. And such an attack will have grave and unfathomable consequences . . .”
